For our august break, we are doing some one-off shows featuring FRIENDS OF LAUGH TRAIN HOME. 

Steve Gribbin: Shunted Again

Tormented Train Traveller, militant non-driver & sit-down (when he can get a seat) satirical comedian Steve Gribbin presents his bittersweet love letter to the current British Railway system, “Shunted Again!” which he performed at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year, and at Soho Theatre in April 2018.  The show will be a mixture of stand-up, songs, poetry, sound effects, storytelling, shouting, weeping and hilarious true train announcements, as Steve examines all aspects of our railways.

Free to book, in order to reserve your seat. A collection for donations will be made at the end of the show.

After an eventful year off (got a new laptop, etc.), the boy’s back in town, with resolutions galore but less courage in his convictions than ever. How much has Ivo learnt? And what good has it done him?

LOU SANDERS: Shame Pig (preview) 

Lou Sanders talks about her most shameful experiences and somehow fits it into fifty minutes. This lilshame pig has been ever so busy creating a mud bank of sexual and social shame – but just like a swan rising from the ashes, she will reclaim it, own it and do a show about it. And the good news is her escapades are going to make you feel so smugglyand snuggly about your own life choices. 

Lou has just had her second appearance on ‘Alan Davies As Yet Untitled’, and recently starred in ‘Live from the BBC’. Her TV stand-up includes sets on ABC1’s ‘Comedy Up Late’ and ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’. Lou has written for ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’, ‘Mock the Week’, ‘Stand Up for the Week’ and ‘Miranda’.
